Mohammad Hammoudeh is a Professor (Chair) of Cyber Security in the Department of Computing and Mathematics at the Manchester Metropolitan University. Mohammad heads the CfACS Internet of Things Lab he founded in 2016 where he leads a multi-disciplinary group of research associates and PhD students. From this he established the Lab as a leading research hub with a broad portfolio of successful, industry-sponsored projects. Mohammad has been awarded above £1.5M in competitive research funding as Principal/Co-Investigator for 13 research projects. He has a global collaborative research network spanning the academic community, industry, policy makers and wider technology stakeholders in the field of cybersecurity, the Internet of Things and complex highly decentralised systems. He published over 75 refereed conference papers, over 55 peer reviewed journal articles, and is a successful editor of 3 books and many journal special issues. Mohammad supervised 7 PhD candidates to completion is currently co-supervising 6 PhD students. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK. Mohammad advised the UK’s Government on law reform related to national cybersecurity security through a number of committees and hearings. He is the co-developed a state of the art unprivileged and trustless computing zero trust security theory. He currently investigates ways of improving industry practice to allow for guaranteed security and distributed computing applications which work effectively every time. This theory of zero trust is rooted in his research on smart cities and critical infrastructure such as smart grid and intelligent transport. Throughout his 15 years research career, Mohammad developed significant insight and expertise into a number of computer science disciplines (such as blockchain and Artificial Intelligence) adjacent to his area of specialism (distributed systems).

Dr. Amamra is an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at California State Polytechnique University. He received his doctorate degree from the University of Quebec, School of Higher Technology, Montreal, Canada. His master’s degree in computer engineeringwas from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He holds Computer Engineer degree from INELEC. Dr. Amamra has more than 20years’ experiencein IT and Computer Science area. He hasteaching and research experience at several institutes including University of Quebec (School of Higher Technology), University of Montreal (School of Polytechnique of Montreal), University of Connecticut (USA), and California State Polytechnic University (USA).His research interests include smartphone security, network security, IoT security, and machine learning to solve security problems. His work has been funded by multiple agencies within the National ScienceFoundation (NSF) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).Dr. Amamra has published over 30 referred papers, technical reports, and book chapters. His research has been supported by NSF REU Site in Big Data Security and Privacy at CPP. In addition, Dr. Amamra is a director of Cyberstar program. This program focuses on gaming cybersecurity curriculum; it is collaboration between NSF, NYU and SANS institution. Dr. Amamra is also a Co-Principal-Investigatorof the NSF SFS program in Cal Poly Pomona. In the last three years, Dr. Amamra advised over 10 undergraduate and graduate students’ research in Cal Poly Pomona.Dr. Amamra has over 8 years of IT professional experience at high IT companies such as Bell Canada and CGI, particularly in implementing networkssecurity solutions.

Mohammed Lamine Kherfi currently works at the Departement of computer science and information technology, Université Kasdi Merbah, Ouargla. Previously, he was with the Department of mathematics and computer science, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Canada. Mohammed Lamine does research in Computer vision, Image processing and Pattern recognition. His current projects include Visual object recognition and classification, Handwriting recognition, Texture modelling, and Computer vision applications.

Lamri LAOUAMER is associate Professor at the department of Management Information Systems, College of Business and Administration at Qassim University, KSA. He received his Ph.D. in 2012 in Computer Science from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale, France; His M.Sc. in 2006 in computer science and Applied Mathematics from the Université du Québec à TroisRivières, Canada and His B.Sc. in 1999 in computer science from the Université de Setif, Algeria. His research interests include image and video watermarking, information security, image processing and computer vision. He supervised several Master and Ph.D. thesis. He published many international articles in well recognized journals and international conferences. As well as this, he served as an associate editor, reviewer for many journals; general co-chair and PC member in many international conferences.
